The company recognizes that high standards of Health and Safety are an integral element of efficient business management objectives and contributes to the operational efficiency and profitability of the company. Safety on site is fundamental to operational efficiency.
Statutory obligations are minimum standards for which all employees are responsible and the aim must be to attain higher standards.
Employees are required co-operate with the company and its clients so as to prevent injury to themselves or others. It is only with the active co-operation of all Employees that good Health and Safety conditions may be attained.
Employees at all levels wherever employed receive sufficient training in the Safety. Health and Welfare aspects of their work to ensure that they are aware of potential hazards and action required to overcome them.
Should any employees be found to have been purposely negligent in respect of Health and Safety or have contributed to an accident through personal negligence then such persons will be subject to disciplinary procedure which could result in dismissal.
All employees must report any significant Health and Safety defect or shortcoming to their supervisor or manager immediately it is discovered.
The Company communicates with employees on a daily basis and will carry out Health and Safety toolbox talks and Inductions prior to works commencing.
All employees are empowered to stop work immediately upon discovering any significant Health or Safety hazard and are not to resume work until a safe working method is in place.
